Which format should I choose?
Start with partners: will players bring a team, keep a partner drawn once, or change partners each round? Then choose the schedule or court movement. The native presets below exist in iOS and Android; the web wizard has a different template selector. Do not assume every platform offers identical options.
Which formats keep teams together?
King / Queen Teams moves winners up and losers down while partners stay together. Fixed Team Ladder starts intact teams in seeded court order. Non-Elimination Bracket uses pool matches and placement matches so teams continue after a loss. Blind Draw Doubles accepts individuals, draws partners once, then uses the selected Round Robin or Placement Bracket structure.

Which formats change partners?
King / Queen Individuals moves players between ranked courts and splits partners between rounds. Opposite World K/Q changes the starting arrangement and keeps the arriving pairs together at its designated top court. Ladder Play uses ranked individuals and nearby opponents. Luck of the Draw redraws partners and opponents each round and tracks individual results. Review the published assignments before moving players.
How do registration, courts, and timing work?
Individual registration and team registration are different. Confirm accepted players, partner status, court capacity, and any rest assignments before publishing the lineup. By time uses game and transition clocks; By completed scores waits for required final results and has no game clock. Review Traditional or Rally scoring, target score, win-by rules, and whether ties are offered for your format. Outside booking systems do not automatically sync the roster.
Do I need a top court or championship?
No championship, Standings decide, and Championship round are different endings where supported. A designated top court identifies the top of a court ladder; it is not just the lowest printed court number. A King / Queen championship requires a top court. Placement formats have their own final-match structure. Agree on tied-standings and prize rules before play; do not promise a universal head-to-head tiebreak.
What must the manager do between rounds?
Check missing results, saved scores, and any partner or advancement notice. Publish required assignments or final matches before sending players to the next court. The screenshots in the TV guide show synthetic examples rendered by the current native components and web display; they do not prove every format has been run through a live event.
