A Pulse near 50 means the player is performing approximately as expected. Equal Pulse scores do not mean equal skill.

Recent matches move Pulse more readily than a long-term rating, while match and weekly caps prevent wild swings.
Eligible results
Completed Social matches count when saved. DUPR matches use the authorized DUPR submission workflow and retain their provider status.

Competition difficulty is context
Difficulty changes the expected result and explains the performance signal. A higher difficulty number means the competition was harder; it is not automatically better performance.
