Follow and unfollow players

Find the right player

Use Players to find people you play with and open their player profiles. Check more than their name before following someone.

1. Tap Players in the mobile app.
2. Search by name or username, or browse the club circles available to you.
3. Adjust the discovery scope or filters. If shown, use Browse full directory to expand your search.
4. Open a result and confirm the person using their profile photo, username, and club details.

Follow a player

Following adds another player to your network and can make player selection easier when logging matches.

1. Open the other player’s profile.
2. Tap Follow near the top of the profile.
3. Wait for Following with a checkmark. The button changes after the request saves successfully.
4. If iOS asks about notifications, choose your preference. Notification permission is separate from following.

Unfollow a player

You can change your mind from the same player profile.

1. Return to Players, find the person, and open their profile.
2. Tap Following.
3. Wait for the button to return to Follow to confirm the change saved.

Manage notifications

Following may prompt you to allow social notifications. Use your iPhone’s Settings to review Pickleball365 notification permissions later. Changing device notification permission does not itself follow or unfollow a player.

The Follow button is missing or does not change

Your own profile does not show a Follow button. Open another player’s profile while signed in. Wait for a pending request to finish before tapping again. If the button stays in its previous state, check your connection and retry. Reopen the profile to check the saved state. If the problem continues, contact support with your app version and the player profile you were trying to follow; never send a password or sign-in code.
